The “Puerto de altura de Progreso”(Deep seas Port of Progreso) has an excellent strategic location that contributes connectivity between the commercial markets of Europe, North, Center and South America, with services of world-wide quality for the movement of load, height and cabotage. The established sea lanes allow the arrival in just 36 hours to the most important markets from the United States, the Caribbean and Central America, also with connections to South America and Europe, which has had a significant impact in the growth of the industry of the Southeastern of Mexico.
The Port of Progreso has four specialized terminals: hydrocarbons, agricultural bulk, tourist and containers, as well as a cooled warehouses, complemented with the modern facilities of the Marine Customs.
